Abstracts: RFID technology will be used to track and monitor assets in a Generic Domain making it easier for the administrator to administer and manage the resources in an efficient manner. This will even provide the facility of the same even when the administrator is on the move. Thus, the administrator can remotely look after and check the tagged assets. The constraints on the assets can be based on their characteristics and the desired mode of strictness to be imposed. The constraints are Time Bound Constraints and Space Bound Constraints which can be made the testing conditions. This system is absolutely generic in actual meaning. Users of this system will be able to administrate critical assets. Tracking of the resources/assets will be done using new emerging technology RFID. Assets will be administered against Time bound & space bound constraints as well. RFID technology brings some unique benefits to asset tracking that other identification technologies like bar codes or other tagging technologies may not be able to easily provide. Additionally, RFID technology is more suited for automated tracking because it allows for non-line-of-sight operation, and it provides the ability to read multiple tags simultaneously. This means that RFID technology can be used more effectively to automatically and accurately track asset movement.
