Abstracts: Home Automation for electric devices is an approach used to control devices without being in direct contact of it. In today’s world, there is a common issue of wastage of electricity. So, it has become important to take steps to save electricity which add some betterment to environment. Many approaches are taken for it like, using ir/rf waves, by web interfaces, by connecting different controlling devices with the system, and many more. We have used Raspberry Pi for interface between devices and the web. It gives the state of electric devices using its gpio(general pins of input/output)pins of raspberry pi. Then the states of the devices is forwarded to the server, this information will be useful to change the state of devices. And thus the electric devices will be easily controlled by the administrator or user.
