Abstracts: Online Student Attendance Management System enables users to deal easily with the clumsy system of maintaining student attendance being implemented today in many universities. It provides speed and accuracy as compared to current paper-based system. This system, being very user-friendly, does not need any prior installation of any specific hardware as it is online. It consists of report generation feature which provides a great help in tracking attendance information of any student at any instance of the academic year. The system can generate student-wise, subject-wise and class-wise detailed reports in the form of excel sheets (CSV format) and PDF formats. It can be used by any university with little or no modification. It can keep records of 100 billion students having 10 lectures a day for 100+ years. It has been developed in PHP and AJAX with MySQL as the back-end.
