Abstracts: In this project we are developing an “Image Editor”, using the multi platform language java. The application is implemented using java’s graphic and Advanced Imaging libraries (“JAI”). The main features of the image editor are: Support of the standard image file formats, Saving images in the JPEG,BMP,PNG formats, Geometric operations (Rotate, Scale, Mirror) on images, Image Enhancement, Arithmetic operations (Add, Subtract, Divide, Multiply) , Image analysis, Zooming, Copying and pasting part of an image to another image.
