Abstracts: The present model of mobile charging unit works on the principle of conversion of kinetic energy to mechanical energy and then conversion of mechanical energy to electrical energy in a continue cycle. In the present invention the kinetic energy of the flow of water flowing in the pipelines of any home, office or water used via pipelines, is converted into the mechanical energy. The conversion of kinetic energy of the water flow into mechanical energy takes place via a special power generation unit. This unit is fitted in the pipeline of the water supply. The unit contains small turbine, having turbine blades. The turbine is connected to a small dynamo generator. The flow of water into the pipe rotates the turbine blades and hence the small generator connected to it. The generator generates the electric power. This generated power is then fed to the power circuit which controls the fluctuations in the power and converts the generated power into usable DC power to charge the mobile battery. This circuit has an output to the socket unit with a battery. Battery is charged with the generated power and power is stored for the rest of the period when the water flow is not available. At that time the charge of the battery is used to charge the mobile battery. The socket unit containing a battery can be placed in the home at the desired place, but not too far from the power generation unit fitted in the pipe. From this socket the mobile battery is charged from the power that is generated using the flow of water in the water supply pipe. Here no wastage of water takes place, after rotating the turbine blade it continues to its desired outlet spot.
