Abstracts: Pipe conveyor is also known as tube conveyor. It is a device to handle and transport bulk material along a distance. It is similar to belt conveyor but its arrangement of belt differs from each other. The pipe / tube conveyor also eliminates the need for transfer points to change direction. The pipe / tube conveyor has the ability to form horizontal curves over much smaller radii than conventional trough belt conveyors, since the belt is constrained on all sides by the idler rolls. This eliminates all the environmental problems and expense of belt cleaners, pulleys, drives, chutes, dust collectors, power distribution and the cost of maintenance associated with transfer points Pipe conveyor is a new type of special belt conveyor and it is widely used in conveying powder material. In this report, the details of pipe belt conveyor are introduced. Design and Calculation of pipe belt conveyors and main parameters is different from that of conventional belt conveyor. The parameters such as belt speed, belt width, resistance, and tension in belt, length of belt, dimensions and power are described. The supporting rollers and tipping device are necessary parts of pipe belt conveyor. The structures of them are also discussed. Thus this report will give some of all the including parameters of pipe conveyor.
