WHAT IS BLUE EYES TECHNOLOGY

The BLUE EYES technology aims at creating computational machines that have perceptual and sensory ability like those of human beings.
It means it can interact with human beings in the same way as we interact with each other.
It provide technical means for monitoring and recording human-operator’s physiological condition.


WHY IT IS NAMED AS BLUE EYES?

Blue eyes emphasizes –blue eyes technology and the movement of eyes. Bluetooth provide reliable wireless communication whereas the eye movement enable us to obtain a lots of interesting and important information.


DESIGNING

A personal area network for linking all the operators and the supervising system
Two major units
DAU (data acquisition unit )
CSU (central system unit )
Emotion mouse


DAU - FEATURES


Fetch physiological data from the sensor
Sends this data to the central system to be processed
To accomplish the task device must manage wireless Bluetooth connection



MICROCONTROLLER

It is a small computer on a single integrated circuit containing a CPU, memory, Timer and programmable input/output ports.

Microcontroller available with different word length such as 8bit, 16bit and 32 bits microcontroller.

Microcontroller can contain a varying number of I/O pins. These pins can configured to either an input or an output state.



JAZZ MULTISENSOR


It’s an eye movement sensor to provide necessary physiological data to DAU.

It supplies raw digital data regarding eye position, the level of blood oxygenation acceleration along horizontal and vertical axis.

Eye movement can be measure by using direct infrared oculographic transducer.


CSU – COMPONENTS


CONNECTION MANAGER – main task to perform low-level blue tooth communication.
DATA ANALYSIS MODULE – performs the analysis of the raw sensor data in order to obtain information about operator’s physiological condition.
DATA LOGGER MODULE – provides support for storing the monitored data.
VISUALIZATION MODULE – provides user interface for the supervisors.
