Completed SSLC from Adi Dravidar Welfare Boys Higher Secondary School, Arakkonam with 93.20% by 2009.
ACADEMIC PROJECT
Title : charecteristics of binding properties of bitumen with additives
Role : project leader
Duration : 4 months
The effect of chemical additives sasobit wax(S) and SBS(styrene butadiene styrene) polymer on the physical and binding charecteristics of bitumen is yet to be fully understood. This study had investigated effect of organic wax sasobit (S) and organic polymer (SBS) styrene butadiene styrene) on the charecteristics of bitumen grade. the ratio of binder mix bitumen 60/70 with sasobit wax and SBS polymer is identified.the ratios of 4%,5%,and 6%of SBS is taken with bitumen of 60/70 grade by keeping the ratio of sasobit wax (S) for all ratios of (SBS). The bindibg properties for the samples was studied by SEM (scanning electron microscope)the marshall stability test was conducted and stability.
