1. INTRODUCTION
1.1Problem Overview
CUTOMER ORDER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The term Web 2.0 is commonly associated with web applications that facilitate interactive information sharing, interoperability, user-centered design, and collaboration on the World Wide Web. A Web 2.0 site gives its users the free choice to interact or collaborate with each other in a social media dialogue as creator of user-generated content in a virtual community.
In computing, Oracle Application Development Framework, usually called Oracle ADF, provides a commercial Java framework for building enterprise applications. It provides visual and declarative approaches to Java EE development. It supports rapid application development based on ready-to-use design patterns, metadata-driven and visual tools.
The project aims at developing a tool for managing and designing applications for mobiles, where it focuses on maintaining CRM with the customers and marketing persons.
This system aims at understanding the study of web applications. It provides differences between browsers and mobile based browsers. The customers can view the status of their orders raised. The marketing persons can view the status of individual customers. It also improves efficiency and reduces time delays in an organization.
Currently, the system is used in managing Customers-to-Business relationship. In future it can be enhanced by using it in various business corporations by maintaining a Business-to-Business relationship. The system can also be implemented in large scale organizations.
In future if the sysytem is extended as per requirements of current industries then it can totally replace purchase and cells departments.
Security perspective can be added to make application more reliable.
1.2 Problem Definition
1) Customers of ABC Company raises the order through mobile.
2) Marketing persons view the order and depending on the quantity, manufacturing forecast, customer category approve/reject the order.
3) Customers are able to see the status of their orders raised.
4) Marketing persons are able to see the customer wise report
2. SYSTEM STUDY
2.1 System Overview

In day-to-day life customer can buy any product of a company through a third party vendor by paying much more than product’s price including delivery charges and taxes. Also time taken for delivery is much larger. So this system is a trying to reduce the customer efforts by providing a platform where they (customers, companies) can buy products directly from company outlet.
The salesperson of company can deliver order for customers, hence reducing the cost of third party and valuable time of customer.
2.2 System Behaviour
The aim here is to automate the sales and purchase, stock maintenance system in order to increase efficiency and speed up transactions of orders . The need of the hour is fast and efficient execution of important transactions for the common good. The system not only aims to modernize the present manual system but also tries to achieve a unique combination of flexibility and security.
 The system can be implemented in any company dealing with customers (single user or other companies). The system is aimed at advancing the current system available, to account for greater departmental efficiency.
 It provides separate user ID and password for each user and salesperson.
 The admin manages the users registered.
 The order can now be monitored and their status updated as per the requirements.
 Thus this system introduces maintainability, efficiency, fastness into the organizations sales departments.
The transparency of the system prevents unsolicited delivery of order.
2.3 Feasibility Study
Feasibility study is a test of system proposal according to its workability, impact on the organization, ability to make user needs an effective use of resources. It is basically the analysis of the practicability of a proposal of any project.
This is the most important aspect in system analysis and design. A preliminary study is undertaken before the real work of a project starts to ascertain the likelihood of the projects success. Research is carried out to determine whether to go ahead with a project that is under consideration, based on such factors as the marketplace, the competition, available technology, manpower, and financial resources. By studying this, management can take decision about the system. This is the cost benefit analysis.
The steps that can be carried out are:
Analyze the proposed project and produce a written description.
Define and document possible types of systems.
Develop a statement of the probable types of system (centralized, decentralized, mainframe, etc.).
Analyze the costs of similar systems.
Produce a rough estimate of the system size, costs, schedules, etc.
Define the benefits of the system. Include both quantitative and qualitative measures.
Produce an estimate of the next life cycle stage.
Present feasibility document to clients for discussion.
