What is diabetes

Diabetes is classed as a metabolism disorder.
There are three main types of diabetes:
Diabetes Type 1 - You produce no insulin at all. Diabetes Type 2 - You don't produce enough insulin, or your insulin is not working properly. Gestational Diabetes - You develop diabetes just during your pregnancy.


Why continuous monitoring
provides information about the direction, magnitude, duration, frequency, and causes of fluctuations in blood glucose levels.
provides much greater insight into glucose levels throughout the day.
Blood glucose monitoring reveals individual patterns of blood glucose changes, and helps in the planning of meals, activities, and at what time of day to take medications.

Though it is a costly compared to previous systems but the results are satisfactory and reliable.
