Remote control

[attachment=20257]

APPLICATION PROBLEMS

Remote Controls available now a days cannot be precisely operated on multiple channels.
According to the requirement user’s priorities change towards remote access.
There are some limitations that must be included in designing a remote control using conventional integrated circuits.

SOLUTIONS AVAILABLE

There are many remote control units are available in the market. But still some problems we are facing for ease of usage:
The remote control for multiple channel access are costly.
For some applications their working collapses.
There is no provision of reprogramming.

SOLUTIONS THAT CAN BE PROVIDED

Making the use of PIC and HOLTEK IC we can make the circuit more dynamic for reliable operation.
The device we are designing can be implemented on grass root level such as for household utilities.
According to the user’s requirement we can change the working of device after implementing some little programming logic.

HARDWARE REQUIRED

For Transmitter section:
COMPONENT VALUE QUANTITY
IC HT-12E 1
Tx antenna module 1
Capacitor 1000microF 1
Resistor 1K 5
680K 1
Switches 4
Diode 1N4007 4

SOFTWARE SECTION:

In the software section we are using the basic C programming to program PIC 16f72.
This PIC is programmed such as it can latch the output until next signal is given to the receiver.
Over a period if the reliability of the project varies then we can use the simple modification to replace the same type of PIC with different programming logic.

CONCLUSION

Our project successfully terminates all the problems that persists with different remote controls available in market for instance single channel coverage etc. Through our project stage 1 we have taken in account the multichannel requirement and with the help of reprogrammable PIC we have made it more useful for future use.
