GSM based Heart beat Monitoring and Alert System

The main objective of this project is:
1. Realtime monitoring of health status of a person.
2. Sends alerts in the form of SMS messages to emergency ambulance.
3. Works any where in the world (with GSM availability).
The project provides learning’s on the fallowing advancements:
1. Developing Heartbeat sensor based on LED and LDR.
2. LED and LDR characteristics.
3. GSM modem and micro controller interface.
4. Embedded C programming.
5. PCB design.
6. LCD Interfacing.
7. Serial Communication for AT commands and NMEA Protocol.
The major building blocks of this project are:
1. Regulated power supply with voltage regulator.
2. Micro controller.
3. Heart beat sensor.
4. GSM modem.
5. LED Indicators.
