AUTOMATIC ATTENDANCE SYSTEM USING FINGERPRINT SENSOR

Hi all students I m bringing up to the presentation today up to date .
The main part is the Microcontroller Unit which serves as the brain of the system . It contains AVR core which combines instruction set with 32bit general purpose registers , allowing two of them to be connected with the Arithmetic Logical Unit.
The 4x4 keypad matrix is used to punch in codes for authorization purpose . Here we can connect single key to MCU i/o ports.But we cannot connect say 10 ports to i/o lines because:
It will eat up precious i/o lines.
The MCU to keypad interface will contain large combinations of wires.
Here the finger print scanner will act a the input device I which he finger prints are collected . Finger print recognition hamster is the finger print scanner which have high performance ,high durability based on biometric technology.
The LCD monitor here acts as the output device.
The final part Im here to discuss is the PC portion which contains the DBMS which is used for storing information which is compared for proper functioning of the system.
