A Remote Home Security System Based on Wireless Sensor Network and GSM Technology

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This is a digital home security system with voice feature which can monitor room temperature, smoke, motion, and windows & doors.
The project is used for detecting and transmitting the temperature and illegal physical access.
The system is fully digital and also be fully customized
When any dangerous condition has occurs ,system will send predefined SMS to user defined mobile number using GSM modem. 


GSM

GSM is a open digital technology used for transmitting mobile voice and data services
GSM operates at 900MHz and 1.8GHz bands GSM supports data transfer speeds of up to 9.6kbps
Allowing transmission of basic data services such as SMS


WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK(WSN)

Operating in point-multipoint mode

WSN includes in four parts

1. Data collecting unit
2. Data processing unit
3. Wireless communication unit
4. Power management unit
