INTRODUCTION


WHAT IS A SOLAR PUMP?
A pump that works taking sunlight as an input and converting it into electrical voltage using photovoltaic cells present in solar panels is known as solar pump.

SPECIFICATIONS

MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking System)
MPPT provides a constant power output from the solar panels to the boost and buck converters though the sunlight varies throughout the day.
Input: up to 252V (DC)
Output: 252V (DC)

Maintaining the charge in infrequently used batteries

Introduction

Solar pump is a useful device for irrigation. It works during day time
and consumes no electricity or any fuel. On a sunny day discharge output of
this pump is 1.40 lac liters ( Maximum ). When photovoltaic modules are
exposed to sun it generates D.C. Power and with this power a 2 H.P. D.C.
mono block pump operates. It is a very useful device for irrigation where
water table is around 6-7 meters ( 20-25 ft.)
