Micro Controller Weight Indicator

Abstract:
Weight is one of the important measures in determining the quantity of something.A variety of weighing machines are available for measuring weight.
Weighing machines available can be Analog or Digital But there are some disadvantages with the present day weighing machines. As we know the problem with Analog weighting machines is that they are inaccurate. The Digital weighing machines available are accurate but they are costly.
So in our project we are developing a very accurate and precise Digital weighing machine which is affordable can long last for ever.
In this weighing machine we are using a strain gauge which gives exact weight of the articles. The weight value is then sent to micro controller via bridges which in turn display the value on LCD display. The advantage with this system is we can measure both smaller as well as bigger weights accurately and the most important advantage is it is a very cheap. Every shop (big or Small) even a household can afford it and keep it for a lifetime and there by ensure correct measurement of weights.
