MOBILE BASED MOTOR SPEED CONTROL

DESCRIPTION:
Generally we can’t control the motor
speed remotely. But in this prototype project we
can control the speed of DC motor through
mobile using DTMF technology.
This project is accomplished using a
DTMF technology whenever we press the
Mobile key, the key tone is received by the
DTMF receiver or decoder which digitalizes
the tone and sends to the microcontroller.
According to the program in the controller,
motor will rotate with corresponding speed for corresponding key pressed. The motor will drive using motor driver H-Bridge. In the same way for corresponding mobile key pressing, motor will rotate with corresponding speed.
From the above discussion, we can control the motor speed using mobile through DTMF technology.



Softwares Used:
Keil C: Used to write the Embedded C program
Express PCB: Used to design a circuit diagram
µC Flash: Used to dump the software into microcontroller

Hardwares Used:
Power Supply: Used to give 5V or 12V power supply to the microcontroller board
Micro Controller(AT89S52): Used to control the operation of the whole circuit
H-Bridge: Used to drive the motor
MT8870 IC: DTMF IC is used to decode the analog signal which is coming from mobile into digital signal.
HeadSet: To transfer mobile keypad tone to DTMF through headset.
