RF BASED AIRCRAFT BLACK BOX WITH AUTO
INFORMATION CONTROL ROOM

[attachment=22484]

Now a day’s black box is available in aircraft for storing the all activity of the air craft. Here we design the black box which will detect the fault and automatically inform to control room through RF TX. We use RF TX and RF RX for communication.
It has the following feature:
1 Automatically senses the engine vibration; an announcement is displayed in the base station in case of any sort of vibration in engine.
2 To avoid the collision.
3 Automatically senses the engine temperature, an announcement is displayed in the base station in case of abandon rise in engine temperature.

SOFTWARES USED
:
 Embedded C,
 Keil demo version with simulator
 Express PCB and Express schematic.

COMPONENTS USED
:

 89c52-Atmel (www.Atmel.Com).
 Power Supply Standard Type 5v DC.
 RS232 for Serial Communication.
 Vibration sensor, Temperature sensor.
 AUDIO MEMORY SECTION 9600.
 DTMF Coder & decoder.
 IR Tx&Rx, Speaker.

WORKING PRINCIPLE:
RF technology is made technology is used for many applications like process control, energy metering, security system, remote applications etc.
In our project we will be using RF technology for exchange of information between Aircraft (Transmitter) and Airport (Receiver). In transmitter side there are different sensors used for measuring Aircraft vibration, Engine temperature, and Collision detector. So as to check that there is no abnormal rise in engine temperature or unwanted vibration that is taking place in the aircraft that may lead to an accident to avoid that. we will be transmitting information to airport so as to make an emergency landing or if required to take any necessary action.
In base station, pre recorded messages will be stored in Audio Memory Section (9600). Depending upon signal received at receiver section particular message will be played back at airport.
