The Bluetooth stack in free BSD is implemented in Netgraph framework(Netgraph4). A broad variety of Bluetooth USB dongle is supported by ngubt(4)driver. The Broadcom BCM2033 chip based Bluetooth devices are supported via the ubtbcmfw(4) & ng(ubt)(4)drivers. The 3com Bluetooth pccard 3CRWB60_A is supported by the ugbt3c(4) driver serial & UART based Bluetooth devices are supported via sio(4), ug4(4) & hc serial(8).
Plugging into the device:
By default device drivers are available as kernel modules. Before attaching a device u will need to load driver into the kernel.
Kld load ug_ubt
If the Bluetooth device is present in the system during system startup, lead the module from (boot/loader.conf).
Ng_ubt_load=”yes”
Plug in your USB Dongle
The output appear on your console.
