TRACKING ROAD ACCIDENT USING ADHOC NETWORK

Nowadays highway accidents are quite often that had led to increase in the highways accidental death. When an accident happens in an unsecured area, the victims are helpless and they will be seeking for first aid. In this undesirable situation, we proposed an Ad hoc network based system, which can be used to save the victims quickly. The accident can occur in any area, but the information about the accident must be forwarded to control room. Here our proposed ad hoc network which plays a vital role to trace the information without the help of any centralised administration. When a disaster happened, wireless sensor incorporated in the particular vehicle will send a signal to the nearby control room. Using this signal the detailed information can be traced with a help of ad hoc network based system configured with the CCTV camera. This information can be monitored and forwarded quickly to make immediate arrangements for the helpless people. This proposed project can also be used in jeopardy industries in unsecured area. Future work of our project can be extended by globalizing the ad hoc network.

LITERATURE SURVEY:

The social issues like highway road information, hospital information, ambulance information, location tracing of a particular place, location identification in the unsecured area and terrorist information are not available.
Highway accident are quite natural in the modern world, nobody can help the accident people on the highways, they are helpless and the accident information may reach to the police station or ambulance in a late hour.
The population growth during the corresponding period was 20.4% where's increase in the rate of accidental death during the same period was9.9%.
The total 0f 2,94,175 accidental deaths were reported in the country.Correspondingly,1.6% increase in the population and 4.9% increases in the rate of accidental deaths were reported.

ROAD NETWORK:

The road network starts from Tirunelveli junction to Tenkasi.The total distance from Tirunelveli junction to Tenkasi is 60kms.The distance from Tirunelveli junction to Einstein college of engineering is 14kms.

PROPOSED NETWORK TOPOLOGY:

In the proposed network topology the nodes can be created. Link between each node can be established and data can be transfered between each nodes.This can be stimulated using GloMoSim stimulation software .
