INTRODUCTION
Broadcasting- Idea to send information from one source to multiple receivers.
In past analog signals were used to convey the information.
To overcome the errors in analog broadcasting we go for digital broadcasting.
DIGITAL BROADCASTING
Digital broadcasting-telecommunication system of sending or receiving information by means of digital signals.
Information signal is converted to discrete &fixed intervals of time period.
DIGITAL VIDEO BROADCASTING
DVB is a suite of international accepted open standards for digital television.
It distributes data using a variety of approaches like
Satellite: DVB-S
Cable : DVB-C
Terrestrial television: DVB-T
DIGITAL AUDIO BROADCASTING
DAB -reliable multi service digital broadcasting system for reception by mobile, portable & fixed receivers with simple, non directional antenna.
