User requirement:-
Mobile number of student
Email-id of student
Webpage to show the seat allotment for students
The application should provide reports as printout for final seat allotment as well as any other needed interface
System requirement:-
Functional requirement:-
What is the number of branch and its strength
Number of class rooms available for allotment
Number of subjects per branch
Number of students appearing per subjects(for backlogs and detained student)
Strength of each class room and maximum allowed strength of students according to university
University examination time table schedule
Number of subjects and students that are appearing in examination on particular date
Details of subjects on particular date
Database which contains details of all students
Available elective subjects per branch and per semester
Automatic detection of students for particular elective subject
Non-functional requirement:-
There should be least manual work i.e one click allotment
Only user with administrative privilege is allowed to allot seat
Domain requirement:-
Maximum number of allotted seat in a room should not exceed 36
Two student of same department and subject should not sit together
The allotted USN should be in sorted order as well as uniquely allotted
Each room should be allotted for at least two branches
