SEMINAR ON THEFT ALERT SYSTEM

ABSTRACT
The present banking sector provides the security from theft through the usage of video cameras in the banks. These cameras present in the banks provide a live stream of the video which is seen by the manager only in the bank. The problem with such a system is that a continuous monitoring of the video is needed to alert the police incase of a theft.
INTRODUCTION
During banking hours and non-banking hours some misuse by unauthorized people needed to be detected and alerted. This is more so during the non-banking hours. The electronic devices like video cameras are used to provide a live stream of video which includes several pictures or images. But the problem is that these videos watching after a lapse of several hours works as only a postmortem and there is every possibility for the person committed the crime to escape. This necessitates an immediate alert system.
Using this system, we can send an immediate alert to the authorized person or system in case of any misuse in banks occurs.
Detection of objects in images:
Detection of objects is used to classify a pattern as either changing or nonchanging.
Person is identified by finding different components of human body like the head legs, left arm, right arm etc., After ensuring that these components are present in the proper geometric configuration, then we classify it as a person or else as nonperson. Identification of an object is very important in this module.
Detection of objects in videos:
This module is for detection and segmentation of foreground objects from a video which contains both stationary and moving background objects. In this we have to identify the moving objects accurately. For this, the stationary background object is described by the color feature, and the moving background object is represented by the color co-occurrence feature. We identify these moving objects and store results.
Alert system
In the above two modules any unauthorized or illicit objects are identified then we have to send the alert about the identified objects to near by authorized people.
SYSTEM ANALYSIS
Before going to replace or planning for a new system it is essential to have thorough knowledge about the existing system along with estimation or determination of how automations can be best used to make its operations more effective. System analysis is a process of collecting and interpreting facts, diagnosing problems and using the information to recommend improvements to the system.
The broad objective of analysis is to analyse the existing system and identifying the problems in the current data processing. Some of these problems may be better solved by recommending automation .
