It was founded in 1962 by Mr. Y.P.Agarwal
It manufactures the electronics kits used as much in engineering
It provide the knowledge of latest technology.
‘EDUCARE’ the industrial training program at OMEGA.
Basic Electronics THEORY:-
Manufacturing of PCB:
Materials:- conducting layer of thin copper foil.
Insulating material of glass fiber and different plastics.
Etching:- To remove unwanted copper.
Solder Resist:- Prevent by short circuit.
Screen Printing:- Line art and Text may be printed.
PCA/PCBA:- Attachment of the components on PCB.
Protection and Packaging:- A ‘Conformal layer is apply to prevent the
PCA by corrosion.
Transformer:
Transformer is a device which works on the principal of mutual induction.
There are two types of transformer:
Step up Transformer
Step down Transformer
Soldering & De-soldering:
Soldering:
Soldering is a process in which two or more metal items are joined together by melting and flowing a filler metal into the joints.
There are three kinds of soldering:
Soft soldering (3000C-4000C)
Silver soldering(high temperature)
Blazing soldering(very high temperature)
Soldering Iron:
Soldering iron has rating from 30W to 300W.
Temperature is linear variable along its length.
Tip has the highest temperature.
Soldering safety:
Wear safety glasses when soldering. This includes all individuals in the vicinity of someone who is soldering.
Place soldering iron in an approved holder when not in use. The iron is hot and can cause burns.
Place the soldering iron so that the cord does not get caught up in your arms or on others.
Verify that the type of solder is safe to use in your working environment.
Secure the components to be soldered before beginning the soldering process.

The word robotics is used to collectively define a field in engineering that covers the mimicking of various human characteristics.
