ACID RAIN
DEFINITION:
Acid rain means the presence of excessive acids in rain water.
EXPLANATION:
The thermal power plants industries and vehicles released nitrogen oxide and sulphur dioxide in to atmosphere due to burning of coal and oil.
GREEN HOUSE EFFECT
It is defined as “the progressive warming up of the earth’s surface due to the blanketing effect of man made co2 in the atmosphere”.

DEFINITION:
Biomass is carbon, hydrogen and oxygen based. Biomass energy is derived from five distinct energy sources: garbage, wood, waste, landfill gases, and alcohol fuels.
