INTRODUCTION

Usually the systems are based only on automation in the operation.
To avoid damage due to dry-run of the motor ,feedback assembly must be present.
In absence of electricity the changes of dry - run of motor increase.
GSM based irrigation automation system is the solution for this.

ADVANTAGES

SMS is sent to the master number , whenever the power is turned ON.
An unathorised party cannot start or stop the irrigation system.
Dry-run & over-current of the motor is avoided by sending SMS.
Run time of the irrigation system can also be specified.

DISADVANTAGES

Reduce concentration while driving.
Electromagnetic radiation.
Abuse of private data possible.
High complexity of the system.
