SMS is the most happening thing today.
Now is not just a service of sending simple messages.
But also encompasses message broadcasting,chatting,e-mail.
It has group messaging facility.
SMS sent…What Happens Next?
Short Message Center receives messages and forwards it.
After receiving the message it interacts with HLR.
Message then passed to Mobile switching center(MSC).
It finally interacts with VLR,then sends to BSS.
BSS sends the SMS to the receiving handset.
Stay Connected
We can establish a ‘remote control protocol’ though e-mail or voice calls!
For a period of time, infrared was used as external connectivity to other devices
Now, Bluetooth came into act enabling better connectivity.
PC-Suite cable connection is one of the reliable option.
Make It Secure
Cell phones come with lot of security features.
Phone serial number, lock code, PIN code,PUK.
The default lock codes may be like 0000,12345,8888.
PIN protects SIM against unauthorized use.
If the PIN entered three times wrongly in succession,phone is blocked.
To unblock it,we need PUK.
Last but not the least,is keyguad lock.
