INTRODUCTION
The blinking display is an interfacing of IC 8085 and IC 8279.The system comprises a number keypad which is connected to a 8-bit microprocessor 8085 through the programmable peripheral IC 8279,8279 is known as programmable keyboard/display interface. The blinking display is prepared using Led’s. The inputs to the display may be given by the user.
Blinking display has its application in various places shops, government offices, hospitals, railway stations, educational institutions etc.It can also be used to provide information to passengers during their entire travel.
