INTRODUCTION
About the Project
This project entitled “ONLINE TRAVEL AGENCY” gives us the complete formation about the travel agency. This project developed PHP as front end and Mysql as back end. We can enter the record of new ticket booking details and retrieve and details of seats available in particular bus. We can allocating the seats to the passengers’ and maintain their records and can also check how many seats are allocated and seat available in the particular bus in travel agency.
In this project have two entries as an administrator and an Employee. Administrator has all rights to the access all the modules and also set the fine amount for late return for books, maximum days hold for books to student and the employee details.
Using this Project we can also maintain the details of a student and employees in a library. This system has product the reports like book details, Member details, which books are issue or return to the students.
Throughout the project the focus has been on presenting information and comments in an easy and intelligible manner. The project is very useful for those who want to know about library management System.
In this system that a person can store the details and also they provide the report whenever the superior inquired about the books. This system is very helpful to develop the library, because they are handling through this system. In this system we can able to store all details about the library. The authorized person should be able to add/modify/delete details. We can search the details about the books and reserve the books, member details, employee details etc.
Welcome Screen/Home page:
This screen is the first screen to be displayed when the application starts. It contains the links to the other screens. Also, after each process is over, the user returns to this screen.
Login Module:
In order to login, User specifies their ID and password. Then it verifies them to determine their validity. If no such member exists with the given ID and password, the user is prompted to check the details. Only authorized person should do these operations. Administrator has a legal right to read and all correspondence in this account at any time.
Login module gives the security to the system. Because if some other person may mistakenly enter anything means, entire system may get puzzled. For this reason, Login is must when the person works on this system.
Problem Definition
The primary goal of our project is to replace the existing manual system. By this project it is ensured that all necessary data are available at needs. The existing manual system is time consuming process and laborious task. It is tedious work to maintain the books details, Issued details, student details etc. Because it needs a large volume of data to be stored and modified when each time they proceed.
The purpose of our project is to reduce a lot of paperwork, economize expenditure of recovering nature and to provide quick and timely services. The objective of this study is to develop a User-friendly environment. This is to serve end-users efficiently by giving accurate and up to information regarding all the factors.
Existing system
At present Library Information are done manually, maintains list of book details, student details, and staff details related data in the corresponding registers which is tedious and time consuming. Also, it maintains the issue, return and renewal of book details to the student and staff manually.
Many queries made by the user are not answerable easily because of non computerization. It takes a lot of time to provide the details manually and it can be erroneous. The maintenance of books availability is difficult to user and its time consuming.
Problem recognition
Maintenance of various registers is time consuming and tedious which requires patience maintain volumes of data. Maintenance of books availability for every department is very difficult. Searching for particular book details done manually is slow process. Non-Registering book details will cause error and is difficult to trace the error.
Proposed system
To overcome the drawbacks that have been mentioned above will naturally become the advantages of the proposed system. The proposed system provides an easy method to create, manage and modify the books, student, staff, employee, and transaction details. And provide easy way to issue and return of the book for the student and staff.
The proposed system provides a secured access to the system’s data. The system restricts the user that ensuring the security to the system. The proposed system is feasible. The proposed system is feasible. The system is supposed to reduce the work load of the user to a great extent.
