Overview of the system
The premier invention of this century is the computer. Computers have a tremendous impact on the way information is processed within an organization. Today even a small office runs application software which saves a lot of time and manpower and helps the business to run properly with almost no errors and delay. An information system is a set of devices, procedures and operating system designed around user based criteria to produce information and communicate it to the user for plan Indian cuisine has been around for at least 2500-3000 years and it has changed much over the years. The use of many different herbs and spices make each dish quite unique. Each different region in India is known for it's wide selection of different recipes and cooking styles and tastes.
Food is such an important part of Indian culture as in most cultures, and plays an important role in the family life and in festival celebrations. Most families in India still sit down together to enjoy their meals with one another. Indian style cooking is different throughtout all of India. For that matter, there is really not one accepted style of Indian cuisine but rather many different styles. So if you travel to India you will find that the food prepared by the people and restaurants in that area will be different in each area. Of course there will be some similarities but it will also be very different from place to place.
Problem definition and Objective
Problem Definition deals with working with clients to identify, analyze and document project requirements and carry out feasibility studies, technical assessments and prototyping to determine the best approaches for full system development.
The problem that is identified is that the present is not user friendly. Addition of new features is very difficult and creates more overheads. The present system is not easily customizable. The change in one module or any part of the system is widely affected in other parts or sections. This present system then becomes more error prone when we think about updation.
Analysis and Requirements
System analysis is a detailed study of the various operations performed by the system and their relationship within and module of the system. This phase involves the study of parent system and identification of system objectives. Information has to be collected from all people who are affected by or who use the system. During analysis, data are collected on the variable files, decision point and transactions handled by the present system.
System analysis involves gathering the necessary information and using the structured tool for analysis. This includes the studying existing system and its drawback, designing a new system and conducting cost benefit analysis. In this project, the requirements are studied in detail. Information are collected and documented. The requirement analysis determines what the input should be. The inputs are Project details, Module details, Schedule details etc. the processing job transforms the input to output.
Justification of the proposed system
The proposed system is designed in such a way that it will determine a proper solution for the problems involved in the existing system. The system is designed to replace the disadvantages of the existing system in which information are stored and retrieved using a lot of records. An important objective of the system is to produce timely accurate result. In short, it must produce better information at any moment.
The primary objective of the proposed system is to deliver a system that meets the administration requirements of the cusine. The system is developed as an online application using PHP technology. The system is secured by protecting the system with password. The administrator user can make use of this system to do the administration task online, by providing the administrator ID and password. The system allows the user, which in this case is the customer.
Input Design
The input design is the process of converting the user oriented data into the computer based form. There for user interface design is very important for any application. If the interface design is good, user will fall into the interactive software application. The input design requirement such as user friendliness, consistent format and interactive dialogue for giving the right message and help for users at right time are considered for the development of this project.
CONCLUSION
In this busy world only those who can give the best can survive. This is expected in public & private sectors in each corner. To offer best service they have to manage the work efficiently according to their specifications with the aids and utilities provided by the latest technologies so that the functioning out stand in the competitive world. The project “CYBERCUISINE” manages the hotels with help of advanced technologies and functionalities.
The new system depends on the computer for its processing. The chances of error that can be created during manual data entry and storage can be reduced to a great extend. The retrievals of any information are made much easier and the result produced are integrated and efficiently managed. The attendance and mark storage as well as the further management and any checking on the data are very easier and effective.
