INTRODUCTION TO SPACE TECHNOLOGY
Space technology is technology that is related to entering, and retrieving objects or life forms from space
Space is the boundless, three-dimensional extent in which objects and events occur and have relative position and direction
AERONAUTICS:
Aeronautics which means . "navigation of the air"
It is the science involved with the study, design, and manufacturing of flight-capable machines, or the techniques of operating aircraft.
ASTRONAUTICS
Astronautics, and related astronautical engineering, is the theory and practice of navigation beyond the Earth's atmosphere. In other words, it is the science and technology of space flight.
AEROSPACE
Aerospace comprises the atmosphere of Earth and surrounding space.
Typically the term is used to refer to the industry that researches, designs, manufactures, operates, and maintains vehicles moving through air and space
SPACE SHUTTLE
The Space Shuttle was a manned orbital rocket and spacecraft system operated
The system combined rocket launch, orbital spacecraft, and re-entry space plane with modular add-ons
Each Shuttle was designed for a projected lifespan of 100 launches or ten years of operational life, although this was later extended.

Expandable launch vehicles: THEY ARE
DESIGNED FOR ONE TIME USE
Reusable launch vehicles : THEY ARE DEISGNED TO USE AT SUBSEQUENT LAUNCHES
. For orbital spaceflights, the Space Shuttle is currently the only launch vehicle with components which have been used for multiple flights.
