INTRODUCTION

What is communication?
Interacting with each other though any specific channel is called communication.
What is mobile communication?
If the communication is done by any electronic gadget called mobile is called mobile communication.

3G

3G is the 3rd generation of mobile phone which was implemented after 2G.
It based on ITU(International Telecommunication Union) family of standard under the international mobile telecommunication programme(IMT 2000) .

4G

It is 4th generation of mobile communication.
It provides end to end IP solution (Where voice data & streamed multimedia can be served to on an “ANY TIME , ANY WHERE “ basis at higher data rate than previous generation)

CONCEPT OF 3G

Features.

1. It supports greater no. of voice & data customer in urban area & higher data at lower incremental cost than 2G.
2 It required 0.5MHz channel carrier width to deliver significant higher data rate and increase capacity .
3. It allows the transmission of 384kbps for mobile system 2Mbps for stationary system.

CONCEPT OF 4G

Features.
1. 4G will be a fully IP integrated system of systems & network of networks.
2. It is for wired wireless network.
3. It allow the transmission of 100Mbps for outdoor & 1Gbps for indoor.

CONCLUSION

The 3rd generation of mobile communication is more advanced than other generation.
The communication network of various countries are of 3g type.
During these days a new technology is developed called 4g communication.
It is of high security & more advanced.
Till now it is not fully developed.
Still research is going on this.
