Air Quality & Pollution Mapping System

Architecture
• MQ-Series or TGS-Series gas sensors are used to measure the concentration of gases in the environment.
• A signal conditioning circuit is used to level the sensor values for proper data acquisition.
• A multi-channel ADC board is used to convert gas concentration values into digital counterparts.
• A centralized PC is used as a data logger, which constantly retrieves the ADC values and stores them into database/files.
• The system depends on external inputs for the latitude and longitude values of the location from where the data is acquisized.
• The X-Y coordinates of the location can either be entered via a GPS receiver connected to the serial port or manually using a standalone GPS receiver.
• The data logger (PC) after acquisizing the values from all the locations build’s a 3D landscape based graph.
• The data logger also builds mobile based graphs that can be transferred to any mobile device either via Cable, IR or Bluetooth.
