SOLID MODELING OF JCB IN AUTO CARD 2010

[attachment=39943]

A history of innovation:-

In 1953, Joseph Cyril Bamford built the first Major Loader using his own concept as the basis for the design. That simple machine evolved into what we know today as the backhoe loader, and ever since then JCB’s machines have continued to revolutionise the Construction job site.
Having pioneered the backhoe loader, JCB continued to improve on its first concept design. By employing advanced engineering principles, they expanded the machine’s capabilities and many of our leading innovations have since become standard features on backhoe loaders throughout the industry. Four-wheel drive, extending dippers, torque converter drive, powershift transmissions, all-wheel steer, sideshift chassis, powerslide backhoe, skid steer backhoe: all JCB world firsts.

Different models in JCB:-

JCB MK1 Major Loader, JCB Hydra-Digga Loadall, JCB Hydra-Digga Loadall 65, JCB 2,JCB 2B, JCB 3D, JCB 4D, JCB 3 MKII, JCB 2D, JCB 3C MKIII, JCB 3CX (P200), JCB 3D, JCB 3CX Sitemaster, JCB 4CN, JCB 3CX Hammermaster, JCB 2CX,JCB 3CX Sitemaster (P8), JCB 4CX Sitemaster, JCB 2CX MKII, JCB 1CX, JCB 3CX Super, JCB 3CX (P21), JCB Mini CX, JCB 3C, JCB HMEE, JCB Midi CX, JCB 3CX
Behalf of above models we are concentrate on JCB 3D only.

Transmission system:-

JCB synchroshuttle transmission incorporating torque converter, reversing shuttle and synchromesh 4 speed gear box in one resiliently mounted on it.
Electro-hydraulic direction control through a steering column mounted switch for forward/reverse shuttling. Foot pedal operated, transmission disconnect switch for on-the-move gear change. Torque converter stall ratio 2.83:1

Introduction to AutoCAD

Autodesk’s AutoCAD is a powerful drafting and design package used In many industries and educational institutions all over the world. It is a flexible user –friendly software that lets the user to create 2D&3D models for a wide variety of applications.
The first software of AutoCAD came into market in December 1982 and the release-10 in 1988.latest version of AutoCAD 2012.
According to AutoCAD, an engineering drawing is considered to be made up of different drawing elements, called entities. These are line, circle, arc, ellipse, cloud, spline etc. To tell AutoCAD cad which entity to draw, type the required command (for instance LINE) on the key board or select the command from the menu by point device like mouse. Then responding to the prompts on the screen, supply the parameters for the- chosen entity. When the entity parameters are complete, the drawing of entity appears on the screen.

Facilities in AutoCAD:-

AutoCAD file window look up the options like file, edit, view, format, tools, draw, dimensions, modifies and image. We can see the options like new, open, save, save as, and export in the file. The drawing from one package to other package can be export to the file with the extensions like BMP, DWG, DXF, EDS, and SAT etc. Modify pull down menu and rearranged so that the often used commands appear towards the top of the menu. The title bar at the top of the window, which reads AutoCAD and the command displayed in command line window.

Modeling of JCB parts in AutoCAD 2010

In these days material handling system plays a very important role while handling the material. By the use of labour in the every department (material handling system) is a difficult to manage them. By the using of automation in the handling of material becomes less in material handling cost and less time consumption and more convenient.
Our project is that modeling one of a material handling equipment like JCB including different engineering fields like transmission system in automobile, hydraulics in fluid mechanics are designed in AutoCAD. In this project we are presenting the every component of JCB part by assuming and by considering data available on the web. Modeling of different parts of JCB is done using the AutoCAD package and assembled it by the auto CAD itself.

Conclusion

In these days material handling system plays a very important role while handling the material. By the use of labour in the every department (material handling system) is a difficult to manage them. By the using of automation in the handling of material becomes less in material handling cost and less time consumption and more convenient.
We have made this model with the extent of knowledge gain from past experiences, and with the support of my Parents, Guide, and friends.
Because of trade secrecy of JCB, we are not able to present actual measurements, if the measurements are available they are converted to actual measurements by using scaling factor, and there is a possibility to go analysis through this model.
