Maximum Concentration Values
Exemptions
Level at which restriction is applied
European Union
Large and small household appliances.
IT equipment.
Telecommunications equipment (although infrastructure equipment is exempt in some countries)
Consumer equipment.
Lighting equipment—including light bulbs.
Electronic and electrical tools.
Toys, leisure, and sports equipment.
Medical devices (currently exempt)
Monitoring and control instruments (currently exempt)
Automatic dispensers.
COLLECTION
The company sets up registered collection centres at several parts of the territory
The user, at the end of vehicle life, brings the vehicle to the collection centre
The collection facility accepts the vehicle free of cost if all essential parts are present
Upon acceptance, the user is issued a destruction certificate which is the legal document used for his vehicle deregistration
