Dell™ delivers a series of Services to satisfy our customer’s needs. 24 hour remote phone based technical
support service outlined within this document (the “Service Description”) describes the 24x7 phone technical
Support Service offering.

Service Overview

Dell’s 24x7 phone technical Support Service provides the following remote service activities as set forth more
specifically in this document (the “Service Description”) With this support service program, you will receive tollfree
telephone access to Dell’s technical support service round-the-clock coverage seven days a week, 365 days
a year. By calling the toll-free Technical Support number referenced on your Dell invoice you will receive technical
support on Dimension™ desktop and Vostro™, XPS™, Inspiron™ notebooks/desktop within Australia, New
Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and China only.
The services referenced within this service description will be provided in accordance with the service entitlement
sold with the Dell system. Please reference your Dell Invoice for service levels sold with your system.

Customer’s Responsibilities:

In the event a problem occurs, the customer should call Dell Technical Support at the designated toll-free
Technical Support number on your Dell invoice.
A. Prior to calling Dell, the customer should have the following information available:
1. The system service tag number
2. Model type/numbers for the system
3. The user should be in front of the system and willing to follow directions provided by the Dell technician.
B. While on the phone with Dell, the customer should have the following information available:
