UNISCAN-NX/H/V UNIVERSAL INPUT SCANNER

[attachment=43564]

INTRODUCTION

UNISCAN – NX/H/V is a Universal Input Scanner intended for continuous monitors of process parameters.
It incorporates advanced software features and micro controller based design to provide complete user flexibility and can cater to almost all monitoring and data acquisition needs of the user. It can be user programmed to cover different application needs thus reducing time, inventory and spares cost. It accepts direct signals from thermocouples, RTDs and linear voltage and current inputs, either as fixed type or programmable universal input. Each channel is sequentially scanned and active channels are displayed, Individual channels can be locked for monitoring using the E key. Flexible alarm logic and grouping is provided to energize alarm relay outputs as per the process parameter values and programmed set points.
Serial communication is provided to enable the scanner to communicate with PC (RS 232/RS 485 optional.

FEATURES
• Site programmable mixed inputs, ranges, decimals, alarm/trip values.
• 8 (up to32 if asked for) relays with C/O contacts freely allocatable/grouped to any channel alarm/trip.
• All functions –operation, configuration, calibration and configuration from keyboard.
• Programmable inputs 4-20 mA (Linear/Square Root), RTD, J,K,R,S,T thermocouples
• RS-232 Serial Communication port or RS485 port OPTIONAL.
• 16 inputs and 8 relay outputs standard (refer factory for more inputs/outputs)
• 2 nos 4-digit 7-segment LEDs for Process Values, Channel Numbers, alarms etc.

Auto Calibration Mode

Calibrate all input types to Channel no. 1. And just setting the respective input type, that particular channel will gets calibrated

1. Suppose User wants to calibrate RTD to ch-2. Go in configuration mode. Recall that input type and then save it by pressing S+M key.
2. Suppose input type (e.g. RTD) is there then also user has to change it and set to RTD. Save it by pressing S+M key.

Important Note: User can calibrate the instruments without auto calibration. It needs individual calibration for each channel (Procedure is given in calibration mode). By this way these instruments can be use for any input type as mentioned above.
