RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor the jobs whether it is done in the scheduled time.
• Performs Batch Processing for Cyclically scheduled jobs and transmit files form teams upon request.
• Supports Dual year processing.
• The batch is a kind of Job or task usually will run during the maintenance window.
• And it is combined with a multiple number of jobs or tasks. We can call batch as group of long running jobs or tasks.
• The applications which have involved with large volume of data and that want to process millions of data in a day or two will normally designed to support batch processing.
• We also perform some daily and weekly processes for each client based on the run guides provided.
• PPG is staffed 24/7-365 except U.S. holidays.
• PPG Supports Batch processing for 30+ Clients.
PPG Daily Work Schedule:-
• Production Processing houses their daily work for all clients in a single daily Master Schedule.
• This work is broken up by Client, Job name, Applications, Start Time, and Special Instructions
• Each Team Member must log the start and end time of their processes as well as their initials and any errors encountered
• There is a turnover at the beginning and end of each PPG shift between the operators and shift leads to turn over work and note any issues encountered on previous shifts.
• PPG keeps a Shift Log to note that all these turnover-s have occurred and to track issues.
