Currently i am working as Production Engineer in Daesung Electric India Pvt Ltd, Chennai.
ABOUT THE EMPLOYER :-

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-
(1) LINE MANAGEMENT :-
Manpower planning based on the production plan and line absenteeism.
Meet the production target day-to–day basis. Analyse & immediate action on production difficulties.
Implementation of Kaizen and Pokayoke at all possible stages on line.
Ensuring Periodic maintenance of the machines.
Monitoring the productivity and product quality as per the norms set.
Executing cost saving measures to achieve substantial reduction in terms of
Man-days, raw materials and energy consumption.
Implementation and maintaining the 3C, 5S, ISO 14001 and ISO TS 16949:2009 standards.
Daily attending the quality meeting and preparing the action plan.
Coordinating the Assembly works in order to meet with customer requirement
and delivery schedule.
To explain the processes and systems we are following at the time of audit conducted by our customer companies.
Maintaining the entire document related to Assembly line (KPI).
To control over the location and issue of materials to line as per the original.
To give daily reports to Manager and ED regarding production plan vs. actual, problems faced and solved.
(2 ) MAN MANAGEMENT:-
Day to day manpower planning depending on the line absenteeism.
Maintain discipline, general cleanliness & harmonious environment inside
the plant.
Recruitment of suitable group leaders / operators for assembly shop.
Monitoring the monthly attendance, overtime status of all workmen &
co-ordinate with HR.
Arrange training for workmen to creating awareness about total
Productivity management system, 5’s.
Controlling absenteeism through daily monitoring the attendance and
Carrying out counselling.
To ensuring development of skills of new operators on training.
(3) COST CONTROL :-
To preparing the line rejection and review the corrective action to avoid an extra.
Planning for elimination of major repetitive defects for reduction of repair cost.
Monitoring the customer, line complaints and taking countermeasure to make it at zero level, to reduce the rejection cost.
