FADE-Fine-grained Access control and Deletion

[attachment=49764]

ABSTRACT

FADE a secure overlay cloud storage system that provides fine-grained access control and assured deletion for outsourced data on the cloud, while working seamlessly atop today’s cloud storage services. In FADE we use a set of key managers and we assume that these key managers are centrally maintained. FADE client is the bridge between data source and cloud. The main goal of this FADE is to achieve secured outsourced data file. We use two set of key verification and we assure that the data file is delivered to authorized party. These cryptographic key operations that enable FADE to achieve our security goals. FADE provides policy based access control and deletion. Suppose a file F is associated with policy P our goal here is to ensure that the data is secured under key K and hence F, is accessible only when policy P is satisfied. Any file can be made inaccessible if the associated policy P is revoked. FADE also allows renewal of policy and ABE based access control. For each policy we use two independent keys. The first one is private control key used by key manager and the second one is data control key used by FADE client. The number of key managers used in this is N for accessing M bytes of data file.
The main goal of this project is to drain down the time consumed by cryptographic algorithms And to reduce the number of key managers used.
