FOURTH GENERATION(4G)

[attachment=50989]

INTRODUCTION

Now a days technology plays an important role.4G is one of the example for that . The approaching 4G (fourth generation) mobile communication systems are projected to solve still-remaining problems of 3G (third generation) systems. 4G is the short name for fourth-generation wireless, the stage of broadband mobile communications that will be the advanced of the third generation(3G).

LIFE HISTORY OF 4G

This process began with the designs in the 1970s that have become known as 1G. The earliest systems were implemented based on analog technology
The 2G (second generation) systems designed in the 1980s were still used mainly for voice applications but were based on digital technology
It seems to be difficult to invent 3G,so they made an intermediate known as 2.5G
At the year of 2001,3G was invented.
After 8 yrs of sufferings ,the strategic view of 4G was laid on December 12,2010 at YEREVAN.
W-CDMA : Wireless Code Division Multiple Access
HSPA : High Speed Downlink Packet Access
SUPER 3G Confusedupreme form or completed 3G form

SPECIFIC FEATURES

In 3G two types of infrastructures are needed namely , circuit-switched and packet-switched.
A type of communications in which a dedicated channel (or circuit) is established for the duration of a transmission is known as circuit-switching . Telephone is based on this.
The other common communications method is packet switching, which divides messages into packets and sends each packet individually. The Internet is based on a packet-switching .
But in4G only packet switching is enough.
