AUTOMATED BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE NETWORK

ABSTRACT OF THE PROJECT:
INTRODUCTION:
This project “Automated Business Intelligence Network” is a java web based project. It mainly deals with automating the tasks of maintaining and transacting the goods. In the Business Intelligence Network, inventory management is the key process. This process includes the activities such as maintenance of stock details, Maintence of receipts and items etc. It is a tedious job to maintain all these details manually.
FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Following is a list of functionalities of the system. Business Intelligence Network splits your screen up into various sections. At the home page there are list of menu options. These allow you to go straight to a category you want by navigating through the sub options.
• Admin can view and modify card info by logging on to their account.
• Admin add all the suppliers’ details.
• Admin add the required stock for retailers.
• Admin add the Sub location Interchanges for adding the suppliers.
• Supplier adds retailer’s details.
• Supplier handles all the orders for providing services for retailers.
NON-FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
24 X 7 availability
Better component design to get better performance at peak time
Flexible service based architecture will be highly desirable for future extension
EXISTING SYSTEM:
Let us consider In this existing system transaction of goods by maintaining records are done manually. It is a time taking process to retailer. The existing system is manual and the manual system works in the following way:
Disadvantages:
In the existing system the maintaining and transacting the goods in records only.
It is a tedious job to maintain all these details manually.
This is the time consuming process to maintain all the details in records.
This is not a effective way to maintain all the information in manually.
In this manual process is not sufficient for retailers to interact with this application.
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
• To overcome all the difficulties of the existing system the management has proposed automated the whole system and the development of the new automated system.
• contains the following activities, which try to automate the entire process keeping in view of the database integration approach.
Advantages:
• To automate the Business Intelligence Network in an easy and efficient manner.
• To make the jobs of admin, sub-location, retailer easy and trouble free.
• To make the application user friendly means services are provided detail and understanding manner.
