A design methodology for the implementation of embedded vehicle navigation systems
ABSTRACT
This paper implements the GPS/INS navigation system on Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). The designs are executed using an embedded microprocessor. Satisfied, acceptable results are produced by de-centralized closed loop Kalman filter algorithm running on a single precision floating point embedded processor than using a desktop PC platform.
