DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF 0.5KVA INVERTER

INTRODUCTION:
Power Inverter is a very useful device which can convert DC source to AC source. The most common power inverter is 12V (24V) to 240V inverter. Perhaps that is because 12V batteries are common.
EXPLANATION
At first we are giving 12v dc supply to the Ic 7809 which is a voltage regulator which have three terminals input output and ground.
Input is given to the input terminal and we will collect output from the output terminal which is nearly 8.2v
The ground terminal is grounded as shown in the circuit
The output terminal of the ic 7809 is given as input to pins 4, 5, 6, 14 of
Ic CD4047 through a resistor of 22omhs
It requires an external capacitor (between pins 1 and 3) and an external resistor (between pins 2 and 3) to determine the output pulse width in the monostable mode, and the output frequency in the astable mode.
The output frequency is changed with the help of RC common
