Localization using Genetic Algorithm and Its Performance Comparison with CMDS Technique
Abstract
Localization is a technique to obtain position of occurrence of an event in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Due to nature of application of WSNs, localization has gained tremendous importance in research apart from low cost energy efficient design and protocol developments apart from others. In this work localization is attempted using Genetic Algorithm (GA) and is compared with Classical Multidimensional Scaling (CMDS). The result obtained shows better results with GA implementation.
