Distributed Database and Its optimization
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present an introduction to distributed databases, its architecture, efficient method for implementing query processing on high- speed active WANs, problems in DDBS data distribution optimization and introduces their solutions. This paper has laid emphasis on the basics of distributed database and its implementation on a network. This paper shows the efficient way for distributed query processing using active networks and also presents an efficient method for implementing query processing on high- speed active WANs. This paper also describes the benefits of using bitmap indices.
