Abstract
Rich media is a new media concept, it is different
from traditional media such as audio, video etc. It is
composed of text, graphic, image, animation, audio,
video and other media objects in the time and space to
provide a rich form of expression and interaction.
Expanding SVG Tiny 1.2 standard is the most potential
method in the field of embedded rich media application
development. But SVG Tiny 1.2 only is an interactive
graphic format for mobile device. It is not enough to
describe rich media scene. The paper puts forward
several improving methods for the interaction of SVG
Tiny1.2 and reconstructs RTP for transporting. The
design and implementation of these methods can be
applied to more embedded rich media application
scenarios.

1. Introduction
Rich media is a new media concept; it is different
from traditional media such as audio, video etc. Rich
media is composed of text, graphic, image, animation,
audio, video and other media objects in the time and
space to provide a rich form of expression and
interaction. Its main character is based on the time or
user action to generate changes.
At present, embedded rich media applications tend
to develop by Adobe's FlashLite, SVG Tiny 1.2[1] or
lightweight markup language based on SVG Tiny1.2
such as MPEG-LASeR[2], 3GPP-DIMS [3], NOKIAMORE[
4] .
These technologies have rapid response to
application requirement change, strong representation
of the media, simple application development and
more obvious advantages; become the trend of rich
media technology in embedded fields.
Expanding SVG Tiny 1.2 standard is the most
potential method in the field of embedded rich media
application development.
