A Multimodal Biometric System using Face and Signature
ABSTRACT
In this paper, matcher scores are simply added, with no prior normalization. Scores are neither rescaled, nor weighted to account for differences in matcher accuracy. Whereas in our implementation of fusion technique, first the individual score is calculated and the average of the two is considered as final score. If the score obtained is greater than a predefined threshold, then the output is accepted otherwise it is rejected.
