ABSTRACT
To develop a project, which uses RF technology that keeps control of the various appliances.
In industries there are lot of switches are controlled by hands. In some situations switching will be more dangerous. To avoid this type of problems we can make the use of RF based multiple device switching system.
EXISTING SYSTEM
In Existing System We Are Using IR Communication.
It Is Line Of Sight Must.
Maximum Distance Is 2 To 3 Meters.
IR TECHNOLOGY
Lies between microwaves and visible light.
In infrared communication,
Transmitter : LED transmits non-visible light.
Receiver : Photodiode or photoreceptor.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
Microcontrollers are dumped with the program by the Keil Software. The signal is transmitted by an RF transmitter and received by an RF receiver to switch on or switch off the desired device by the help of mc.
Capability : 15 Devices.
Range : 5 to 10 meters.
Introduction to RF technology
RF waves are electro-magnetic waves which will travels perpendicular to each other.
This waves propagate at the speed of light.
The frequency of RF waves, however, lower than those of visible light, making RF waves invisible to human eye.
Advantages of RF
Not line of sight .
Not blocked by common materials: can penetrate most solids and pass through walls.
Longer range.
Not light sensitive .
Not as sensitive to weather/environmental conditions.
5V operation
Transmitter Frequency : 433.92 MHz
Receiver Frequency : 433.92 MHZ
Low Cost
Small size
Conclusion
Better than the IR technology.
By using this project, we are controlling the appliances with the help of the RF communication.
Thus without manual involvement we can control devices automatically by using remote.
