While parking the car, the driver should be more careful because he can not see the rear of the car while parking or back, if there is any obstacle and ran on it could be to get damage to the car. Our project will assist the person in the driving seat and will alert if there is any obstacle or a wall while parking or while driving in reverse.
Block diagram of parking guard:
The IR sensor will detect the obstacle with a 100cm, if there are any obstacles that will detect and give information to the tone detector that will allow the LM555 timer to generate a PWM for the buzzer. The LM555 will generate the pulse which helps to buzz the buzzer so the driver can understand that there is an obstacle.
Main component Explanation:
LM567: it is a tone detector that can interpret the frequency generated by the other component and give the output according to the application designed by the engineer. For example, if a component is connected to the LM567 input it can generate a 40 kHz signal, but we must operate the next circuit when the component has reached 40KHz. In this decision making we will use a tone detector. The tone detector is mainly used in contact tone decoders, ultrasonic controls, frequency control and control, etc.
LM555: is a timer that can generate PWM signals in various widths and work cycles. The 555 timer is mainly used to control other peripherals such as motors, detectors, regulators, etc.
IR Sensor: The main function of the IR sensor is to produce a beam for a certain distance (the beam distance is always dependent on the IR sensor, the different IR sensor has different beam distance range) if there is any obstacle in the beam that will lead and give signal.
Photo Darlington Transistor: The darlington photo transistor will act as a photo detector. They will lead to light or electromagnetic signals. The main function of this transistor is to amplify the input signal of the transistor. But it will work slowly compared to the other transistors. It has a maximum frequency of 20 KHz.
